Robin Frankle

Managing Director

Robin has in almost 30 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer with approx. 25 years of  delivering multi – disciplinary complex Resource and Defence Infrastructure projects. Robin demonstrates a dynamic career with quantifiable achievements  across safety, project delivery, tender proposals, business development, revenue growth  and profit margin as well as employee/contractor attraction, retention and performance as demonstrated in the growth of the IPSA Holdings business.

Robin is multi skilled and possess the ability to deliver at the highest level. Robin is an energetic promoter of new initiatives, gains inspiration by finding new ways,  new methods and new avenues to optimise team safety and performance, gain  stakeholder support and deliver strategic business goals. Robin mentors Indigenous  businesses in project management and business skills as well as developing long-term  relationships with businesses and communities.

Geoff Jenkins

Queensland Lead

Geoff has 30 years’ experience as a Mechanical / Project Manager / Director delivering  multi-disciplinary complex projects as a Project Manager / Construction/Project Director.  Geoff demonstrates a delivery focused career with quantifiable achievements in safety,  project delivery, value creation, proposal & business and new business creation into  Innovative services, Defence and Infrastructure. He is also a AIPM Certified Project  Director.

Geoff’s international experience includes iron ore in Kazakhstan, processing in the  Philippines, engineering services in India, phosphate in Turkey and oil and gas in New  Zealand. He demonstrates competent leadership whilst being part of the team providing mentorship, support and employee/contractor attraction, retention as well as delivering projects on time and  budget. He has specific experience is leading and delivering long term multiyear performance contracts always ensuring  safety first skills application with increased business opportunities coupled with competent and repeatable performance

His local experience includes oil & gas and refining capital projects, gas pipeline projects, defence and mining projects  and infrastructure engineering and construction projects. He has excellent skills in contract management, project  management and construction management. Geoff’s direct experience includes BP Kwinana capital projects,

Conoco Phillips capital projects, Epic Energy pipeline and capacity expansion, BHP Olympic Dam  project & construction delivery, Defence engineering services and projects in fuel farms, explosive ordnance and electrical services and recently with  delivering the Aboriginal Hostels Limited Electrical and HVAC and PMCA works contracts for IPSA Holdings.

JASON MCGLASHAN

Northern Territory Lead

Jason is an enthusiastic and self-motivated construction professional with over 20 years’ experience in the Property and Construction industry. Throughout his career Jason has worked on a multitude of project types ranging in value from $3million to $100million+ involving civil works, Commercial, Retail, and Multi rise private residential developments. Jason has a detailed understanding of various construction techniques and extensive experience in onsite Project Management, Project Scheduling involving Microsoft Project, Cost Management and Reporting, WHS and overarching client reporting.Jason is an extremely valuable member of the IPSA team and bring the following key vital skills to the IPSA business;

  • A successful track record in the management of large-scale projects.
  • High levels of Cultural Awareness and Appreciation
  • The ability to effectively engage with the full range of Stakeholders, including Government, Technical staff, Contractors, Managers and Executives.
  • Experience in the management and oversight of major infrastructures activities
  • Highly developed Leadership abilities and a proven track record in the management of large staff groups
  • Extensive experience in Cost Tracking and Control
  • A proven track record delivery projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience managing complex project requirements
  • Proven Skills in relation to Safety and Quality Assurance, Contract Administration and Design and Technical Integration Strategies.

PETER OWENS

SOUTH AUSTRALIAN LEAD

Peter has more than 35 years’ experience in Project Management in the Defence, Water, Engineering, Construction and Mining Industry in both the Private and Public sectors. Over the last five years he has worked extensively with Defence to create and rollout their O&M Specification, GDL and HOTO documents. Peter is an enthusiastic and determined professional,  capable leader willing to embrace new challenges using innovative problem solving skills while empowering his team to own and grow with a project.

Peter’s strengths include the ability to plan, execute, monitor and close projects with an emphasis on time and cost. Furthermore Peter is a skilled negotiator with proven results and extensive experience on major projects,  highly organized and prides himself on delivering sound and effective outcomes based on his extensive knowledge of project management processes and procedures. Overall Peter maintains a commitment to  professional outcomes with a focus on safety and quality. Peters previous roles included  leading a Management Team overseeing Defence Projects by way of verification of data to enable transition between builders and ongoing maintenance contractors as well as  his responsibilities included the development and roll out of and procedures to deliver a consistent working model that met all stakeholders expectations

MIKE GWYNN

Project Director - Western Australia

Mike brings 18 years’ of UK and Australian experience including over 8 years working on Australian Defence projects. With a background in civil engineering both as an engineer and on site, Mike has led large multi-disciplinary projects including extensive roles as a Project Manager and Project Director. Prior to working with IPSA, Mike was previously the WA and NT Defence lead for Jacobs and the WA Defence lead for Aurecon. He was also the Development and Delivery Director for the $127m Defence Fuel Transformation Program – Tranche 1.

STEVEN HADI

Project Manager - Western Australia

Steve brings 11 years’ of Australian experience in Project, Design Management and more recently on site as a PM. With a BEng in Chemical Engineering, Steve has gained extensive experience in fuel including major roles on Defence Fuel (DFTP – Tranche 1 Design Portfolio Lead, RAAF Base Curtin – Project Manager and Design Manager and Learmonth DFI – Project Manager and Design Manager). Steve has also undertaken roles as a Project/Design Engineer on South Flank NPI and Jimblebar 2 NPI as well as a Design Manager on various building projects.

JOANNE PELLEW

Business Development

Joanne Pellew is an entrepreneur at heart. As a Noongar woman, she is driven to make a difference within the indigenous community by championing employment solutions on a national level. After founding her first business in Broome at the age of 21, Joanne has been involved in indigenous business and affairs ever since. For the last seven years, Joanne has been dedicated to closing the indigenous unemployment gap, by collaborating with both industry and the indigenous workforce. At the core of both Joanne’s personal and professional drive is a desire for positive, genuine change, and the will to make it happen. Through her initiatives, she has empowered companies to be both commercially viable and socially responsible, paving the way to provide employment for the people that really need it.

TONY KOLEGA

Operations and Health Safety Manager

Tony’s is a dedicated and experienced professional who has worked in various industries, locations and roles. Tony is an ex-serviceman who plied his craft as a health care professional in the Royal Australian Navy for over 23 years. Since his discharge from the military Tony has exploited his skills and knowledge gained whilst in the Navy and through Lycopodium on Rio Tinto projects, CPB Contractors on Main Roads, BHP and Chevron Oil & Gas projects, John Holland on BHP and local government projects, NRW on the Roy Hill Project and Downer EDI on Mining Construction and Maintenance Projects)

Tony’s core skills and knowledge are within the Health, Safety and Environment discipline, however he has the versatility to fulfil other roles which are valuable to the IPSA Holdings business. Tony has been instrumental in assisting IPSA Holdings to achieve and maintain FSC accreditation, Tony is also responsible educate and train IPSA project personnel to ensure state specific WHS legislation pertinent to the IPSA Holdings business is strictly complied with at all times ensuring the IPSA Holdings projects  personnel, contractors and consultants  are kept safe at all times

ROBYN MAURER

Environmental Manager

Robyn is a dedicated Environmental professional with over 30 years of industry experience predominantly in Northern Australia. Between 1998 and 2015 Robyn was employed by the Department of Defence as an Environmental Officer and Environmental Manager (E&IG). In early 2015 Robyn chose to leave government and has subsequently fulfilled several roles as an Environmental Manager, Environmental Planner and Project Manager for Jacobs Engineering and Agon Environmental

Robyn is currently managing our Corporate Environmental Management System whilst ensuring all Project related environmental risks are identified and managed.  Robyn has exceptional interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, risk management and planning skills. This includes identifying simple, practical and achievable environmental management measures that can be implemented in the workplace and/or property. Robyn’s collaborative approach to Environmental Management involves engaging with the client, contractors, stakeholders and other interested parties. Robyn ensures that all environmental concerns and priorities are identified, ensures that practical, and cost effective measures for developing and implementing environmental controls are identified and implemented. As part of IPSA’s EMS policies and procedures she also ensures Quality Assurance activities occur on and off site to ensure all Project and other related activities that may result in an environmental impact are adequately managed, and that principles of ‘best practice’ environmental management are implemented wherever practicable.
