PROJECT OVERVIEW

IPSA successfully delivered the following scope of works:

RAAF Base Darwin Airmen’s Mess Refrigerated Containers Project is a design and construct project.The project consists of the supply and installation of 3 x refrigerated containers (2 x fridge, 1 xfreezer) on a newly constructed concrete slab. Level and covered access is to be provided from the existing rear door of the Airmen’s Mess.

Project Outcomes

  • Successful design and delivery of the RAAF Base Darwin Airmens Mess Refrigerated Containers Project.
  • To achieve a ‘zero harm’ outcome through the comprehensive management of risk, particularly in relation to health, safety and the environmental requirements (HSE)
  • To complete the Works within the agreed timing and within the budgetary constraints. without negatively impacting upon the operation of the facilities, the building tenant, and Defence’s Capability.

Value Added

  • IPSA encountered rock (Latent Condition) rock removal utilised means to ensure no vibration occurred that could have resulted in potential damage to the existing structure and rock removal at no additional cost to the Department of Defence.
