UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY REPLACEMENTS AT RAAF DARWIN AND ROBERTSON BARRACKS, NT

PROJECT OVERVIEW
The scope includeD the replacement of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at buildings on RAAF Darwin and Robertson Barracks, and the replacement of the nurse-call button system at the Robertson Barracks Area Medical Centre.
Project Outcomes
IPSA successfully achieved the following project outcomes: IPSA team provided detailed cut over plans 28 days prior to works within sensitive Defence operational areas, these plans were accurate to the minute and provided Defence with no operation issues within the sensitive hospital and Air traffic control environments.
Value Added
The IPSA team delivered the project on time and budget as laid out within the project plans and methodology, ensuring strong communication between project team and Defence operation team.
IPSA team found faults within existing Distribution Board which had the high potential to create fire, these were immediately repaired and reported, no cost to Defence.
